Description

This CPD-accredited course provides essential training on Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) for UK health and social care professionals. Covering the full PBS framework, you will learn how to identify the functions of behaviour that challenges, use the ABC model for accurate recording and analysis, and develop proactive, active, and reactive strategies that are person-centred and evidence-based. The course covers key legislation including the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Human Rights Act 1998, alongside CQC expectations for restrictive practices, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, and capable environments. Suitable for all care home staff supporting people with learning disabilities, dementia, or complex needs, you will receive a CPD certificate upon successful completion.
